County Info
Franklin County, set in Western Maine, is a small, but extemely active county. They are always on the lookout for new programs to try. This past year some of their activities have included:
- A consumer awareness day, held at the Farmington Fairgrounds, the public was invited to attend this event with booths, animals, and demonstrations showcasing the day to day importance of agriculture
- A booth at the local fair displaying informative handouts and photos
- A summer outing allowing for old and new members to join together for fun and fellowship with other farmers and supporters of the Maine way of life
