Young Farmers & Ranchers
The Young Farmer and Rancher Program provides an excellent opportunity
for young farmers, men and women ages 18-35, to actively participate
in Farm Bureau programs. The objective of this program is to provide
leadership in building a more effective Farm Bureau to preserve our
individual freedoms and expand our opportunities in agriculture.

The program offers opportunities in:
- Leadership Development
- Legislative Awareness
- Educational Conferences
- Networking with other farmers and ranchers around the state and country
- Competitive events, such as Discussion Meets
- Involvement in the
whole Farm Bureau program
We are trying to build this into a bigger, more dynamic program
because today’s Young Farmers are the future of Maine Farm
Bureau and agriculture in Maine. We are constantly looking for
more members to
continue and strengthen the success of our programs. Please contact
us if you would like to participate or find out more about our
activities. We welcome any suggestions as well, for programs you
would like
to see implemented.
