We work to establish media contacts around the state to get the farmer’s
story out to the public. The American Farm Bureau provides media venues
such as audio and video productions, printed communications, news
releases and brochures and internet efforts to provide updates on
Farm Bureau activities and issues. Here are some recent press releases.
July 01, 2010 Cumberland County Summer BBQCumberland County Farm Bureau is excited to invite you to the Family Picnic!
We’ll spend the afternoon with good food and great friends at beautiful Ingallsides Park. Bring the family and enjoy volleyball, swimming (at your own risk), horseshoes, or just relaxing with good ‘ol gabbin’ .
Farm Bureau will provide lunch, including: Burgers/hotdogs, chicken, salads, corn on the cob (let’s hope it’s available!), and desserts. Beverages too!
CCFB-sponsored Pie Contest – bake up your favorite kind of pie for the contest. 1st Place – $25, 2nd place - $15, 3rd place $10. Good luck!

Time: Noon – 5:00 pm
Location: Ingallsides Park
100 Haigis Parkway, Scarborough
Cost: $5.00 per person
Rain or Shine – Ingallsides can keep us dry!

Directions: Maine Turnpike take exit 42 go straight thru light, across Payne Road, you are now on Haigis Parkway, Ingallsides will be approx. 1 mile on the right.
Coming from Route 1 in Scarborough turn onto Haigis Parkway which is next to the Scarborough Irving Mainway, Ingallsides will be approximately ½ mile in your left.
