The Maine Farmer is published for Maine Farm Bureau members.

Ad Rates & Sizes – The Maine Farmer – Circulation c. 5,500

Newspaper: Tabloid-style paper with 16 pages @ 11 3/8” x 16 3⁄4” each.

• 2”x 2.25” Display ad: $30 ­ monthly rate
• 4”x 2.25” Display ad: $55 ­ monthly rate
• 4” x 4.5” Display ad: $115 ­ monthly rate
• Full-page ad: $750 (9.5” x 14.75”) ­ monthly rate
• Half-page ad: $385 (7.5” x 10”) ­ monthly rate
• Quarter-page ad (5” x 7.5”): $195 ­ monthly rate
• Monthly costs for sizes other than the ones noted above are priced at $6.65 per square inch
• Four-color processing ­ Prices arranged with publisher
• Spot color (as selected by editor ­ colors are usually green). Pages, which have been determined by the publisher, accommodate color. Spot color supplied as space permits. Advertiser must be informed that it may be necessary to print the ad with black ink.

Discounts are extended to long-term ads:

6-month ad: 10%
12-month ad: 25%

Classified ads: The Farmer-to-Farmer Exchange column (farm-related sales and services) is no cost to Maine Farm Bureau members, as space permits.

Non-member classified advertising: 25¢ per word ($10 minimum per month)

Ads may be sent by fax, phoned, mailed (including “Overnight Mail”) or e-mailed. Unless prior arrangements are made, ads must reach the editorial office by the 18th of each month for publication in the following month’s issue. Send ads to:
